Thespian members may run for up to two offices. Voting members consist of Thespian members and any other student who has participated in at least one JMA production. Troupe Director reserves the right to replace any or all of the elected slate of students with students of the Troupe Director’s choosing at any time. Failure to complete assigned tasks on time can be grounds for dismissal from the office/position held.
President
Establish agenda in conjunction with Troupe Director
Schedule, attend, and lead monthly officer meetings in conjunction with Troupe Director
Schedule, attend, and lead monthly Drama Club/Thespian meetings
Send official communication regarding rehearsals and other announcements
Act as a liaison between Troupe and campus/off-campus entities
Coordinate fundraisers as needed
Create and lead recruitment efforts for performance and production team members
Assist Troupe Director as needed
Vice-President
Attend monthly officer meetings
Attend monthly Drama Club/Thespian meetings
Serve as president in president’s absence
Coordinate Poster Run at least two weeks prior to each performance
Coordinate Induction Ceremony for new members
Assist President with duties listed above
Publicist (Print, Web, etc.)
Attend monthly officer meetings
Attend monthly Drama Club/Thespian meetings
Coordinating with Mrs. McVay for production photos
